And here are new surprises from Xiaomi, who just yesterday set a event on a global scale that will take place in Madrid on 24 July. It was not officially specified but the smartphone protagonist of the event will be just the expected Mi A2 which inherits the hardware and design specifications of the recent Mi 6X, equipped with Snapdragon 660 processor. We have already given the reasons why it is almost certain that Mi A2 will be presented on that occasion, and find themselves further spoilers right in the published teaser to announce the event. In fact, when you look at the image you can see in the distance, inside the three-dimensional picture frames, the silhouette of a smartphone and also the dots in blue and yellow coloring they are strong references to the Android One logo.
But having said that, the surprise lies in the fact that Xiaomi Mi A2 may not be alone, in fact already some time ago there was talk of a probable Mi A2 Lite that was proposed with a small notch. When the Redmi 6 pro was presented recently, nobody gave more weight to the past leaks, thinking that they were referring to the Redmi 6 Pro, instead today, here is just him, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite that inherits the technical specifications and design of Redmi 6 Pro. So we find a processor Snapdragon 625 accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The display is assigned to a panel IPS Full HD + from 5,84 inches distinguished by a small notch, without any particular function, thus obtaining a form factor in 19: 9.
Xiaomi Mi A2 will have a Lite variant derived from Redmi 6 Pro
On the back of Mi A2 Lite we also find one dual chamber vertical composed of a double module dto 12 + 5 megapixels, with primary sensor entrusted to Sony IMX486, with aperture f/ 2.2 and LED flash while on the front we have the classic selfie camera by 5 megapixel. On the net also prices related to both Xiaomi Mi A2 and Lite variant have also appeared, the latter proposed only in the 4 / 64 GB version.
Here is the price and variants of the new Android One, Xiaomi branded
- Xiaomi Mi A2 4 / 32 GB - 1299 zloty (about 300 euro).
- Xiaomi Mi A2 4 / 64 GB - 1399 zloty (about 323 euro).
- Xiaomi Mi A2 6/128 GB - 1599 zloty (about 369 euros).
- Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite 4/64 1049 zloty (about 242 euros).
Of course the whole thing is to be considered unofficial, and therefore we will have to wait for the 24 in July officially, but fortunately I and my companions of the program #MiExplorers we will be there for you.
