As for the specifications, the new generation of fitness bands supports quick release straps on both sides for the first time. So they can be disassembled with one touch and replaced easily.
Inside the new body with metal central frame in the two colors Black and Light Gold, we find one 1,62 inch AMOLED screen, 192*490 resolution and a maximum brightness of 600nit. It also supports automatic brightness adjustment.
In terms of autonomy, the Mi Band 8 integrates one battery 190mAh for a duration of 16 days with typical use and 5 days with AOD (Always On Display). It also supports 2C fast charging, with the charging time shortened to less than 1 hour.
Important news also in terms of software, the Xiaomi Mi Band 8 in fact supports gods new truly special dials on which you can enter and "play" with a tap. These games include pinball, 2048 and many more.
From the point of view of sports and health, the Mi Band 8 supports comprehensive sports tracking with up to 150 sports modes and professional algorithms. The fitness band also integrates high-performance sensors from Goodix to offer more accurate monitoring of heart rate and blood oxygen.
Finally, we note that being the China version, it currently comes with the Chinese and English languages. There is a possibility that it will be updated to the global version in the future, but we cannot say for sure at the moment. That said, the English language should suffice for most users as this is a band and not a smartphone.
