While in conditions of optimal light, the shots we can call them excellent without patemi of mood, in the evening and in conditions of poor light the criticalities of Mi MIX 2.
How do you notice, in fact, the macro really do justice to all the other Mi MIX 2 specs, with results to say the least poco amazing for what remains and will always remain - let's remember this because it is important - one smartphone! In fact, even the photo in the library in low light conditions is not so bad ... indeed!
Going by memory, I do not remember smartphones of this price range (450-600 euro) that took photos of this quality in the dark.
Difficulties arise when portraying subjects (see photo of the little girl) and night scenes: the camera of the Mi MIX 2in fact, seems to blur a little too much detail, almost as if to forget them. The little girl in fact seems almost not in focus.
Speaking apart, they deserve the macro photo and those portraying the night city. While the quality of the macros remains almost unchanged even in difficult light conditions (with the exception of the photo of the phon, which seems to me to be moved), night landscape photos highlight all the difficulties that a smartphone has to express itself with such a small sensor (compared to that of a real camera).
Il noise it gets up to the maximum levels and probably the work we will have to do at software level will track what has become necessary for the My Notes 2, device that for i first 2 / 3 months from the launch it had a photographic sensor management to say the least poco very bad. The situation however is sharply improved on Mi Notes 2 and, likewise, we can imagine that the development work and software optimization by Xiaomi can lead to unimaginable effects, at least now, even on Mi MIX 2.

sure, but one thing is to have dual cameras, one thing is to have a single sensor .. the optimization must necessarily be different between the two
