Probably not as for the Xiaomi Mi5 but we must say that the wait for the announcement and subsequent marketing of Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is really a lot. We have heard about it in the past, but in the last few weeks there has been a total darkness. Now, in the last hours on the net emerged two new leaked images that would show the design of the new tablet of Xiaomi. These images are also accompanied by the supposed technical features which, especially on the software side, make us drool in the style of Homer Simpson. But let's proceed in order.
As for the aesthetics, we find that Xiaomi has done a great job on the optimization of the frames and, even if we are not able to see the thickness of Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 from these images, we think that thinning has been done also there.
From the point of view of the hardware features, the leaked image source declares that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will again be equipped with a 7,9 diagonal display but this time with 2K resolution, Intel Braswell processor with 14 nm processor and 3 or 4 GB RAM memory. But as we said before, the most exciting feature of this indiscretion is related to the software part. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 would in fact be equipped with a dual boot between Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 and Windows 10.
We do not know to what extent this can be truthful but at least the hardware described above is compatible with 100%, so we can count the news as plausible. How do you see it? Would you like to have both Android and Windows 10 available?
