After having anticipated it with a teaser yesterday, the new Xiaomi Mi Watch Color Sports Edition has just been presented in China. The smartwatch will be presale in the Asian country at the price of 649 yuan, or 82 euros at the current exchange rate, a price that will rise to 699 yuan (88 €) once the promotion is over.

The sports version of the Mi Watch Color uses a 1,39-inch high-definition AMOLED retina screen, with 120 selectable watch faces by default and you can check the time without having to lift your wrist.
The smartwatch arrives with a lightweight design, with the body weight of only 32,5 grams, which makes it less uncomfortable to wear during training. We then have three different colored bezels to choose from with a very elegant new ivory white bezel along with a new colored TPU strap (now available in 6 colors).
As for the internal hardware, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color Sports Edition is equipped with a high-end 12nm GPS chip, which supports the simultaneous positioning of the four satellite positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou), improving further the accuracy of the paths and the chronology of movements, also recording the latter more accurately.
The smartwatch is also equipped with a very advanced low-power AI algorithm that will allow us to obtain 16 days of autonomy (normal use) and 50 hours of autonomy in sports mode with GPS. There is also the magnetic charging, so as to simplify everything.
From a sports perspective, the wearable supports 117 sports modes, including 17 professional sports modes such as triathlon, swimming, and high-intensity interval training. It can accurately monitor and analyze more than 30 key sports data such as heart rate, pace and calorie consumption to help improve exercise efficiency. Clearly, as mentioned in the title, the smartwatch also supports blood oxygen detection.
Finally, the sports version of Mi Watch Color supports 24/24 heart rate monitoring, supports Xiao Ai's smart assistant, and multifunctional NFC works on subway bus, logins and Alipay.
But where did they go to find 117 sports activities !!!
