In order to differentiate as much as possible its offer, Xiaomi is about to start marketing the Xiaomi Mi5 even in Gold Edition. This particular golden color is taking more and more foot in the world of smartphones, which is why Xiaomi caught the ball with his latest top of the range. Specifically, marketing will start tomorrow from April 29 (obviously in China).
Unfortunately, those who were looking for a Xiaomi Mi5 Pro Gold Edition will be a little disappointed, since the only versions that Xiaomi will make available are those with a glass rear body. On the other hand, the Pro version yesterday received the new white color.
From the technical point of view there will be no modification with the current models. This means that on board the new Xiaomi Mi5 Gold Edition we will find:
- Display from 5,15 inches with Full HD resolution;
- SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with variable frequency quad core CPUs (depending on version) and Adreno 530 GPU (also variable frequency);
- 3 or 4 GB of RAM;
- 128 GB internal storage UFS 2.0;
- 16 Megapixel XGA camera with optical stabilization at 4 axes;
- Front Camera by 4 "Ultrapixel";
- Battery from 3000 mAh with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0;
- Connectivity GPS, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, LTE (up to 600 Mbps);
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System with MIUI ROM.
As for the sales price, the standard version will cost 1999 yuan (about 300 euro) while the enhanced CPU version will cost 2299 yuan (about 345 Euros).
