The Imilab C22 is a cylindrical indoor video camera, with a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 10 cm. It is made of white polycarbonate and has an elegant and modern design. The front of the camera features a 120° wide-angle lens, an IR LED for night vision, and a microphone. The back of the camera houses a microUSB port for power, a button to reset the camera, the speaker and a hole for wall mounting. Below we find 4 rubberized feet to keep it stabilized on a surface and the possible attachment for the wall support.

The Xiaomi Mijia Imilab C22 offers 3K video quality (3840 x 2160) with a frame rate of 25fps. Video quality is excellent, with sharp, detailed images. Color night vision is another interesting feature of the Imilab C22, you will hardly find it on other products in this segment. The camera uses an IR LED to illuminate the framed area, but unlike other cameras that only offer black and white night vision, the Imilab C22 is capable of capturing color images even in low light conditions. The audio quality is good, with a microphone that clearly picks up the voice and the two-way audio allows us to use it as an intercom, therefore communicating with whoever is in front of the CAM.

The installation of the Imilab C22 is simple and fast. Simply plug the camera into a power outlet, download the Mi Home app and follow the on-screen instructions. Once set up, the camera can be controlled via the Mi Home app. The steps are very simple and intuitive but I'll post them for the less practical:
- Download (google store or apple store) and install Mi Home
- Log in or register if you do not have an account
- Enable location and BT on your phone
- Connect the camera to power
- From the application, search for a new device (with the “+” at the top right)
- Once the camera has been detected, select it
- Enter your Internet network credentials
- Connect to the network generated by the camera
- Scan the QR CODE found below
- Select the reference room
- Set the name and you're done
At this point the main screen of the cam will appear directly where you will find the main commands that will allow you to take advantage of the main options
Overlaid we find from the left: ON / OFF, audio activation/deactivation in reception, shooting resolution (auto will select based on connection), full screen enlargement. In the lower part we find the icon for: enable the intercom (then speak to whoever is in front of the room), take a picture, start video recording, activate the joystick to move the camera. Further down you will find 3 surveillance icons (to activate video surveillance, it will send you notifications every time it detects movement), playback (surveillance history) and Memory management (here you will find the list of downloaded files).
