This afternoon the Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has launched a new product that promises to improve the quality of sleep of its users: the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Water Heating Blanket.

This is an innovative blanket that uses water as a heating medium, rather than electricity. This guarantees greater safety, efficiency and comfort, as well as a reduction in energy consumption.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Water Heating Blanket is equipped with a 400W ceramic core which quickly heats the water and distributes it evenly to the body of the blanket. The blanket has a denser tube arrangement in the leg and foot areas, to ensure a greater feeling of warmth in these parts of the body.
The blanket also has a waterproof and anti-leak design, which avoids the risk of electrical leakage or damage caused by humidity. The Operation noise of the whole product is less than 25 dB, so as not to disturb your sleep.
The Xiaomi Mijia smart heating blanket is also equipped with smart features that make it easy to use and customize. Via the Mijia app, you can control the blanket remotely, set the desired temperature for different sleep stages, adjust the temperature automatically and connect to other Xiaomi smart devices via Wi-Fi.
The blanket also has a “one-click mite removal” mode, which activates a temperature of 65°C for two hours, to eliminate any bacteria or mites present in the blanket. The blanket adopts DC frequency conversion form, which allows it to be used for two months after adding water once and consumes about 0,7kw of electricity every night.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Water Heating Blanket was released in China on October 16 and has started crowdfunding, with a price of 399 yuan (about 50 euro). It is a product that offers an innovative and ecological solution to keep warm during the cold winter nights. We can only hope that it will also arrive in Italy in time for next winter!
