Xiaomi MIX 5 caught on the IMEI database, but it may not arrive this year
Recently, however, some rumors have emerged that could give Xiaomi fans hope. The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station published a post on Weibo stating that this year there will not be a Xiaomi MIX 5, but that there will be a device capable of carrying on his legacy. Unfortunately, the tipster did not provide further details on this mysterious smartphone, but hinted that it will be something very interesting.
The site also confirmed the existence of a Xiaomi MIX 5 GSMChina, which revealed that the device appeared in the IMEI database of the GSMA body with the model number 2503AVP01C. This number suggests that the MIX 5 launch could take place in March 2025, perhaps together with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the next top of the range from the Chinese company. However, there is one aspect that may disappoint many users: the MIX 5 appears to be intended only for the Chinese market, and there are no indications of a possible global or Indian variant.
Nothing is yet known about the technical specifications of the Xiaomi MIX 5, but it is assumed that it may take over some of the features of the MIX 4, such as camera below the screen and elegant design.
