Today, the technical specifications of the new tablet were revealed by the blogger Digital Chat Station, which revealed some interesting details about the device. The Xiaomi Pad 7 will have one 12,45-inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a 144Hz refresh rate, which will guarantee exceptional fluidity and image quality. The tablet will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, the latest generation of mobile platforms from Qualcomm, which will offer high performance and optimized energy efficiency. Furthermore, the tablet will support the 120W wired fast charging, which will allow you to recharge the battery in a very short time.

But the real novelty of the new Xiaomi tablet is the pre-installed operating system, the HyperOS, which represents a revolution in the tablet sector. HyperOS is an operating system based on Android 14, but with exclusive and innovative features, which make it the ideal partner for Xiaomi's new electric car, the Xiaomi SU7.

In fact, it is thought that the Pad 7 will be able to be connected to Xiaomi's electric car via a special support, which will make it a multifunctional and versatile device. You can use the tablet as a screen for the car's infotainment system, as a navigation device, as entertainment for rear seat passengers, or as a controller for various car settings.

According to Chinese sources, Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be launched on the Chinese market by the end of February, and are expected to have a competitive and affordable price. The Pad 7 Pro, in particular, will be equipped with an sOLED screen and a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, even more powerful and advanced. The two tablets will be presented together with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the new Xiaomi smartphone dedicated to photography, which will have a 200 megapixel rear camera and a 50 megapixel front camera.
