At yesterday's presentation of the series Redmi K20 held in China, we were finally able to admire the first true Xiaomi sub-brand flagship. Unfortunately, however, the general manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, remained silent regarding the marketing of the device in the rest of the world, not that we expected it since the whole event took place in Chinese.
That said, a leak from Russia seems to come to the aid of the many already interested in this terminal. In the former USSR country there are rumors of a possible launch of the K20 series under another name, that of Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro.
Redmi K20 series, will it be sold in Europe under the name of Xiaomi Mi 9T?
The news would go hand in hand with the certification found online which we reported a few days before.
But it does not end here, in Russia there is already talk of the possible price of the two devices. The Redmi K20 aka Xiaomi Mi 9T could cost as much as the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, so let's talk about 349 €, while the Redmi K20 Pro aka Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro would cost as much as the Mi 9, or 449 €.
In our opinion these prices seem a bit high considering that the strength of the Redmi brand is the incredible specific / price ratio. We therefore advise you to take the news with pliers, especially the one concerning prices as this seems nothing more than a speculation without any official data to support.
In any case, how much do you think should cost the more powerful Redmi K20 Pro with Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory in Europe? And the Redmi K20 powered by an excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 730, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory?

As we can see in the shared post on Twitter “K, I or T ... Which letter would you choose for the new member of the family Mi 9? And why?". In our opinion a clue that suggests the arrival of the new Xiaomi Mi 9T, ie the Global version of the Redmi K20.
