TENAA is the Chinese agency that deals with the issue of certifications related to radio modules and mandatory for marketing in the market. It has recently been visited by the Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 2, smartphone awaiting short presentation. Thanks to online certification data, we were able to find out the design (thanks to the images) and to confirm some technical features.
From an aesthetic point of view, we find one body entirely made of metal which helps to give a premium touch to the device. Despite the generous size, we find that frame optimization (at least above the display) is particularly good.
Moving on to the technical characteristics, we basically find the same ones that are on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 but with a small but very important difference:
- Size: x 149.98 75.96 8.75 mm x
- Display from 5.5 inches with Full HD resolution
- SoC MediaTek Helio X10 MT 6795 with octa-core CPU at 2.0 GHz
- 2 GB of RAM
- 16 GB of internal storage
- Main camera from 13 MP
- Front camera from 5 MP
- Battery pack from 3000 mAh
- Fingerprint sensor (located on the back)
We put it down not because it's not important but to prevent it from getting lost in the rest of the specs and not being read. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro will therefore be the China's first smartphone maker to equip a fingerprint sensor.
On the net there are some rumors that would like presentation, more so over time, of a "premium" version with 1 GB of extra RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It would not be the first time for Xiaomi but unfortunately at the moment we have no confirmation in this regard.
