Last 14 February Xiaomi presented in India the Redmi Note 5, known in China as Redmi 5 Plus, and the unpublished Notes redmi 5 Pro, a smartphone that immediately impressed with the presence on board the Snapdragon 636 and for the launch price as usual competitive.
Our Emanuele he has already informed us how the latter device will be launched in China next 16 March, how it will be simply Redmi Note 5 its official name, and how, as well as with a new color and with Android 8.1 Oreo, the smartphone will present itself with a photographic sector different from the one on the counterpart intended for the Indian market.
The hypotheses circulating until yesterday in the network, suggested the adoption of a pair of sensors from 12 and 8 megapixel for the rear, and one from 13 for the front camera. A provision then, compared to the Indian, improved for the dual rear camera (12 + 5 megapixel in India) and slightly subdued as regards the front sensor, which, on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, I remember you to be well 20 megapixel.
Confirmation on the Xiaomi Redmi Note Chinese 5!
Today, thanks to leaked images from the TENAA database, we can not but confirm the above hypotheses. Specifically, you can see how in the camera voice, although they are indicated for both resolutions higher than the 8 megapixels, brackets indicate the most probable resolutions for each module.
These, especially with regard to the dimensions of the front chamber, correspond to what is reported by the various items circulating on the web and therefore represent, as already mentioned, a confirmation of the latter.
Obviously, a lower resolution of a sensor does not necessarily mean lower quality, and it is therefore plausible that the front room of the Chinese Redmi Note 5, though less resolute than its Indian counterpart, is still capable of returning quality shots.
Obviously we await confirmation from tests with a hand that certainly will not be long in coming. Stay tuned!
