Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese manufacturer of smartphones and household appliances, has announced the launch of its new products in China Smart Switch Pro e Smart Socket Pro, which promise to make the management of lights and sockets in the home more intelligent and convenient.

Let's start from Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro, an intelligent switch that adopts a design compatible with the neutral wire and phase wire, and supports an adaptive self-test mode with artificial intelligence. This means that It can automatically recognize the type of connected bulb and adjust the brightness optimally. Furthermore, it has a glass panel AG with an AF outer coating, making it resistant to oil stains, fingerprints and scratches.
The Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro has one load power of 2200W, and has an overload and overheat protection function, which automatically cuts off the power when the rated power or temperature is exceeded. The switch it can be controlled remotely via the Mijia app, or via voice with Xiaomi XiaoAi's virtual assistant. Furthermore, it can be paired with other Xiaomi smart devices to create customized automation scenes.
As regards the Xiaomi Wall Socket Pro, it's a smart power socket which integrates different control methods: remote, programmed and voice. He also has one 20W dual protocol fast charging function, and provides two USB-A/C interfaces. The socket can monitor your daily energy consumption and monthly, and send the data to the Mijia app. Like the Smart Switch Pro, the Wall Socket Pro can also be directly replaced with traditional sockets, and can be connected to other smart devices to create automation scenes.
The new Xiaomi Smart Switch Pro and Smart Socket Pro are now on sale in China, with starting prices respectively of 129 yuan (about 16 euros) e 149 yuan (about 19 euro) respectively. It is not yet known if and when they will arrive in other markets.
