DxOMark is a French company specializing in testing the camera, display and audio performance of smartphones and other devices. Recently, it published the results of its tests on the display and audio sector of the Google Pixel 8 Pro, the new flagship from the Mountain View company.

However, tonal balance loses clarity at low, nominal volumes, and distortion is felt at maximum volume.
As for audio recording, the Pixel 8 Pro stands out for its natural and pleasant timbre, with good management of unwanted artifacts. Spatial performance is good, but not excellent. The recording volume is medium, and the audio zoom function could be more effective. Additionally, recordings with the memo app are mono, not stereo.
In conclusion, the new flagship confirms itself as a versatile smartphone that offers a good visual and sound experience to users. Compared to the previous generation, the Pixel 8 Pro shows significant improvements in both aspects, especially in the display. However, there is still some room for refinement to achieve perfection.
