He is the Xiaomi of the future: art and technology together with the cry of “Alive” | Photo

Xiaomi in the last period, with the presentation of its new brand, caused a fuss. A lot of money spent (as if they were ours) to simply round the logo that made it famous all over the world. We know that behind that work is the Japanese designer Kenya Hara, criticized by many Chinese fans as they felt “robbed” of a brand that was also theirs. But beyond these controversies, another designer has thought about developing a smartphone based on the "Alive" philosophy. Let's go see it.

Yifan Hu, a well-known Chinese designer, imagines the Xiaomi of the future that combines art, tradition and innovation. This is the "Alive" philosophy

When you look atevolution of smartphones, we have come a long way in terms of both hardware and design. Xiaomi's philosophy expressed during the presentation of its new logo is "Alive". What does it mean? We report the words of the company itself:

Alive. A sense of life design. This is the design concept of the new Xiaomi LOGO, and it is also the new thinking of the relationship between technology and life of Kenya Hara and Xiaomi. Under the “Alive” design concept, Xiaomi's new LOGO with the beauty of “super ellipse” mathematics is no longer limited to one corner of the screen, but as if it had a life of its own.

It is precisely starting from these assumptions that a well-known Chinese industrial designer named Yifan Hu he thought of creating a smartphone prototype. So you move on from the evolution of the brand to the evolution of the device. A step that many would like, considering when phones are all the same nowadays. Will he have managed to amaze in your opinion?

The smartphone follows the “Alive” philosophy all the way to indicate a deeply active life. Taking a closer look at the smartphone, we see that the frame of the rounded body and the contoured camera module housing make it really pleasing to the eye. Even the on and off button of the device has the same theme, by virtue of visual uniformity

The device is rather slim and it looks ergonomically balanced. Rightly so, the new "Alive" themed logo on the back perfectly matches the overall design of the smartphone concept. Yifan imagine the device in different colors including coral green, turquoise blue, vibrant orange, off-white and gray.

Would you like such a smartphone in your hands? To me personally it would drive me crazy.
