Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 3 launched in China: now with 4G support for an intercom of up to 5km

The new generation of the Xiaomi branded walkie talkie fully supports Netcom 4G networks, obviously we refer to those of the Asian country. In particular, it relies on the 4G networks of the three major Chinese operators, so as to be able to reach an intercom distance of 5000 kilometers throughout the country and thus breaking through the traditional distance limit of intercom calls.

In terms of practicality, the walkie-talkie has functions such as independent group creation, quick team formation and private intercom that can be accomplished without complicated settings. At the same time, the device supports OTA online update and has the ability to acquire even more functions in the future.

Going into detail, the Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 3 supports a variety of intercom methods, including one-to-one intercom, one-to-many intercom, and supports two-way voice calls. We also find a new high-performance audio system with large 40mm speaker unit and is equipped with a professional audio processing chip that increases the volume by 30%, as well as having an ambient noise reduction algorithm that reduces the distortion rate of 10,9%.

For the rest, the Mi Walkie-Talkie 3 has an integrated 3000 mAh battery, to be able to reach up to 100 hours of standby time and can also be used for up to 60 hours. Charging takes place via the USB Type-C interface.

The walkie-talkie is equipped with a 2-inch color screen, has IP54 protection and is equipped with a built-in rear clip. Finally, not only do we find a 3,5 mm audio port, but there is also support for Bluetooth headphones.
