We start as usual from the sales package, which in the case of the IDW19 is particularly elegant and refined, thanks to a white color and silver details where the 1:1 shape of the product itself stands out and a function of certain interest, namely the support to Alexa. Design and construction
As already mentioned, YOEVER IDW19 is an economical but still well-built wearable, net of completely plastic materials. The design does not differ from many other products seen and reviewed, offering a square-shaped case with a maximum width of 37 mm and a weight of just 40 grams including strap. And the strap, made of skin-friendly TPU, is very comfortable on the wrist, allowing the skin to breathe well, but above all it offers a quick release and a 22 mm pitch, so you can customize the watch outfit with other compatible straps , easily available online. Display
On the right profile there is a button which will be used to wake up the display (an action which also occurs via the gesture of the wrist), or with the screen active, to access the watch menu. Under direct sunlight, even at medium brightness, we do not struggle to read, but unfortunately at a software level it is not possible to keep the screen active during training, but at a settings level we can set the fixed switching on of the screen to a maximum of 20 seconds panel. Autonomy

The actual step count is aligned with reality, thus providing a clear picture of the monitored activity, where among the many sports (over 110 activities) we also find swimming, which counts the strokes in the pool and is able to recognize swimming styles . Again for sport, the smartwatch is able to automatically detect running and walking activity, reminding you if you want to access the corresponding training mode.
There is also no shortage of sleep monitoring (also REM phase but no naps) which recognizes in a very precise way the beginning and end of activity, but also stress and the female cycle, for women passionate about the tech world. Another particularly appreciated thing is the possibility of managing the alarm directly from the watch software and the IP68 certification for immersion up to 10 meters. But the software goodies don't end here because we find support for the Alexa voice assistant, which can be queried directly from the watch, which offers the speaker on the left and a microphone on the right.
The nice thing is that compared to other smartwatches with Alexa support, the YOEVER IDW19 returns the feedback of what is requested directly from the watch vocally and not just in writing on the display. We can therefore create shopping lists, control home automation, query the weather or anything else without having to take out our smartphone. But relying on the speaker and microphone we can also make Bluetooth calls directly from the wrist, with decidedly good audio, ideal for conversations while walking.
To move within the clock system, you use swipes in all directions, accessing quick tabs, toggles and notifications, the latter not exactly smart, without the possibility of viewing emoticons and unfortunately without correct synchronization with the smartphone , since if we read on one or the other device they still appear on the device where unread, while for calls the caller's number and ID can be viewed. Returning to the topic of diving and monitorable water sports, there is a function that allows water to escape from the speaker and microphone via vibration and sound pressure.
Finally, in terms of functions, there is no lack of remote music management, weather control but also the possibility of controlling the native software of the smartphone camera, thus using the YOEVER IDW19 as a remote control to take selfie photos and videos.

Accompanying the watch software is the VeryFit app already used on other cheap smartwatches, which I must admit over time has made notable improvements in the care of the interface and in the functions offered, among which we also find useful advice for sports and sleep. The app is available for both Android and iOS systems, quite complete and easy to use, where you can find all our sports and health statistics, even by changing your phone, as it is accessed via login.
