For all the wearables and fitness trackers arrived on the market so far, often indeed I would always say, luck can decree the companion app, and it is the case of the whole Mi Band series and subsequent Xiaomi / AmazFit products that exploit (or have exploited ) the Mi Fit application. Thanks to the software it is in fact possible to constantly monitor one's physical activity, analyzing and keeping track of the various data relating to sleep, heart rate as well as movements directly on your smartphone.
Updates come frequently, but what has just been released in China and brings the Mi Fit to the 4.0.12 version, brings interesting new features including various optimizations to Android 10, as well as the usual system fixes.

This update first of all fixes the problems encountered with iOS 13, as notifications about calls and messages on the wearable display coupled to Mi Fit were not displayed but with regards to China, compatibilitò are activated with different payment cards, previously not supported . In fact we remember that the Mi Band also boasts variants with NFC sensor that at least in China allow interesting features, such as payments. The novelty does not only concern the Mi Band with NFC but also the other solutions of the brand that use the Mi Fit application. Finally, as already mentioned, there are numerous system bug fixes in the changelog, starting from the optimizations for Android 10.
We do not know for sure if the update only concerns China or if it will soon reach our latitudes, although it is conceivable that a part of this will be released given the resolution of problems with iOS 13, since although it may seem a paradox, there are many users loyal to the bitten apple who also enjoy Xiaomi products. On the other hand, the motto Innovation for Everyone is always valid…
