ColorOS 11: Quantum Animation Engine 2.0 for a super smooth display

When we talk about smartphones, many users look first at the . nowadays it seems that the front panel, with the various technologies it supports, is more important than a well-tried and functioning operating system. Sure points of view, but the brand focuses a lot on this since thevisual experience is the first that a user does. Oppo He knows this well and has decided to take his “usper smooth” technology to the next level by heralding the Quantum Animation Engine 2.0 on devices updated to ColorOS 11. What is it and what does it mean on your smartphone? Let's see it together.

The new Quantum Animation Engine 2.0 will allow the screens of Oppo devices equipped with ColorOS 11 to be even more fluid

One of the latest top of the range of the brand supports the display refresh rate a 120Hz. We're talking about a Oppo Find X2 Pro which a few months ago was also released in Italy in the Lamborghini Edition version. Thanks to a high number of frames per second, the user experience is fluid like never before. This feature will be sublimated with the Quantum Animation Engine 2.0, which will allow even greater fluidity. In quantum mechanics there is a phenomenon called "quantum entanglement“: When a particle moves, it inevitably touches another which in turn makes a third particle move.

This is, in a nutshell, what will happen with the Quantumm Animation Engine 2.0 from ColorOS 11. Each frame will be activated first in the linear sequence. In short, the time frame between frames will be reduced to the bone and this will allow the display to look (and actually be) even smoother than before. This, however, requires a very high computing power and therefore we are sure that this prerogative will be given only to the top of the range. In fact, a high basic refresh rate is essential, minimum 90Hz. For this reason, low-end devices will not be able to take advantage of this level up.

Clearly the devices will also have to be updated to Android 11.
