LG Rollable, a new design for a dual display device

Despite theLG's uncertainty about staying in the smartphone market, the company sector that deals with studying new solutions for smartphones is always at work. We have seen several prototypes (on paper) in the last period including some that report the existence of a Lg rollable. In a very similar way to the extendable device of Oppo, this smartphone promises to have a extending display. But in the last iteration of the project, we also find a doppio schermo. Let's go see the photos.

This is a second “prototype” of LG Rollable, the extendable smartphone of the Korean company: will this really be its final design?

The super ready team of LetsGoDigital brings us the patent in color and in high definition. As usual, these images come from the portal CNIPA, Or the China National Intellectual Property Administration. This is where most patents from China are usually filed and accepted. On this occasion let's see how Lg rollable it might show up. Unlike the prototype we saw at CES, this one features a doppio schermo. We see it in the image below.

Opening the device, you come to a display of the size of a tablet on the front. The screen can be enlarged approximately 40% of the media that does not move. The top and bottom frame can also be slid in and out. This way the device remains sturdy and solid, even when open. But as we said the characteristic thing of this device is the double screen. A double-edged sword no doubt in that it does not allow to keep the terminal on a table or in any case on a surface, with one of the two parts resting.

The second screen, which goes to accompany the front when it opens, comes to embrace the rear photographic compartment. This, by convention, consists of only three optics. We note theabsence of a front photo sensor. Probably having two displays, the device doesn't need them.
