More or less a month has passed since Nubia, in China, pulled its latest creation out of the cylinder of wonders, namely the Red Magic 5G, expected terminal by the most hardened gamers. In fact, this device was born mainly for use in the gaming sector and is noted by many dedicated details, such as dedicated triggers, magnetic pins for attaching dedicated accessories but above all a monstrous hardware that boasts up to 16 GB of RAM and a 144 Hz panel, the first to be equipped on a smartphone.
So much power, however, until now was dedicated only to the Chinese market, but with today's event, Nubia brought the Red Magic 5G to the global market, maintaining an aggressive price.
As mentioned poco first, Nubia's smartphone is the first in the world to boast a 144 Hz, 6,65-inch diagonal screen with AMOLED technology and Esports screen, modified exclusively for Red Magic 5G in order to offer fluidity and clear images at the same time . Equipped with the new Snapdragon 865, the device has Qualcomm's most powerful mobile platform to date, while also offering support for 5G in SA + NSA mode.
Nubia presents the global version of Red Magic 5G with 12 GB of RAM and 144 Hz display
Unlike the Chinese version, the global variant includes “only” 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM instead of 16GB, but retains the same UFS 3.0 storage up to 256GB. Other highlights of the smartphone include the 8MP front camera with SuperNight mode and a set of three 686MP Sony IMX64 main sensor rear cameras, as well as offering an 8MP wide-angle sensor lens and a 2MP data sensor of depth of field.
Nubia Red Magic 5G uses a 4500 mAh battery, while the only weak point of the flagship is the charging base that comes in the package, which turns out to be only 18W. However, Nubia has confirmed that a dedicated 55W charger will be sold shortly.
As a way to enhance the gaming experience, Nubia offers the new Turbo Fan 3.0 active liquid cooling system, with 200% improved performance over previous generations thanks to 30% more airflow through the smartphone and the dedicated fan ..
