Acer True 514 positions itself as a model green thanks to the extensive use of recycled materials. At the same time, the laptop on Chrome OS boasts impressive hardware features and the presence of a touch screen, as well as being well priced for what it offers. According to the manufacturer, the body of the Acer Vero 514 is composed for the 99% from recycled plastic and its packaging is made up for the 90% from recycled paper. The touchpad is made entirely of 100% recycled plastic, sourced from the world's beaches and oceans.
The keyboard is also made from recycled materials: the keys contain the 50% and 30% of the rest of the keyboard components. At the same time, the case has not lost strength and has been tested for compliance with the standard military MIL-STD-810H. As for the other technical specifications the Acer Vero 514 is equipped with a Full HD touchscreen from 14" with 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits of brightness and tempered Gorilla Glass. Depending on the configuration, the laptop is processor based Intel Pentium Gold 8505, Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1235U or Core i7-1255U. The amount of RAM starts from 8 GB, internal - from 128 GB with the possibility of expansion.
