A few days ago we showed you a preview of what the sales box should be Amazfit Band 5. It is a somewhat curious product since according to rumors it will be only a rebrand of Xiaomi Mi Band 5. It seems absurd but in reality it is not at all: Huami lends its products to Xiaomi, which, however does not have exclusivity and for this the first company should have the power to present the same product but with another name. Having said that though, it seems that the fifth version will have little importance since Amazfit Band 6 seems to be already "ready".
Will Huami bypass the Amazfit Band 5 to go directly to the Amazfit Band 6? Let's try to understand what's going on
Maybe "ready" is an exaggerated word for the Amazfit Band 6 but we know that the Chinese company, leader in the wearable sector, already has this card in store. We learned of this by going to search on the portal FCCID that collects useful information about the products that are about to come out. Sometimes very interesting patents also pop up here. In any case, it seems that this smartband has been inserted recently.
Unfortunately, as we can see, not much information has emerged other than the product code number. If what we hypothesized is true, namely that the Amazfit Band 5 will be only a replica (actually the original if we consider the source) of the Mi Band 5, then it may be possible that the sixth edition will bring with it all those features that we look forward to and that the Mi Band 5 has not brought us. We refer to the chip NFC for contactless payments, to the possibility of using a microphone and coveted functionality SP02 to check the degree of oxygenation of the blood.
As said, we do not know anything else about this unpublished product and therefore we just have to wait again in the hope that Huami will let us know something more.
