Zepp Health surprised everyone a few days ago with the release of Amazfit Bip 5. This smartwatch was totally unexpected as we expected a fourth model before this one. But that's how it went. Now the company is also preparing a very special new wearable device: Amazfit Monaco. This, according to the certifications, will be in possession of the 5G connectivity. However, this will be disabled by default.

According to what we found in the certification issued by Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which regulates all products containing radio transmitters, Amazfit Monaco will be a smartwatch with connectivity 5G. Below, together with the meager characteristics, we present the photographs of both the smartwatch and the certifications which confirm what we are talking about.
This is the only image present in the certification. The only external features that we can see are: round dial and two crowns on the right side of the smartwatch. In terms of design, we are not dealing with a completely new smartwatch, but we expect Amazfit Monaco to have some technical di all relief which compensate.
Here instead we can see that Amazfit Monaco carries as a product number A2287 while on the right, in the textual certification, we see a particularity: Amazfit Monaco will have factory 5G connectivity but this will be disabled via software. Now, we don't know the reason for this: perhaps the company intends to activate it via an update once the smartwatch has been purchased; maybe need more test before listing. Poco it matters: the important thing is to know that the giant has a 5G smartwatch in mind.
In the latter screenshot instead, we can see the name of the model. Now, having said that, it is needless to talk about the release date and price of Amazfit Monaco. Although the smartwatch in question is in the company's plans, we don't know when it will be released in the Global market nor how much it will cost. In any case, the launch is scheduled for 2023 definitely.
