Users today Android are having serious problems with the applications on their device. It is not just a Xiaomi bug, which we promptly reported, but all smartphones are having the same worry. We talk about Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and many others. However, we want to reassure all users: it is not an individual problem, but Google. There are thousands of reports but let's go and see how to fix it all, at least temporarily.
EDIT: [Google appears to have released a corrective update]
How to solve the Android app crash that is occurring in these hours: it is a Google bug, not attributable to individual companies
Colleagues of 9to5google, always on the piece, they immediately reported to those in charge. The Google spokesperson said:
We are aware of an issue with WebView that causes some Android applications to crash. We are working to fix the problem and a fix is in the works

The corrective update is in fact being released, but in the meantime here two ways to solve.
Through Play Store
- open the Google Play Store on your Android device;
- go to the menu Le mie app ei miei giochi means Settings;
- tap on the option Install;
- search for the application Android system WebView and click on the item Update o Uninstall
Through the Android settings menu
- enter inside the Settings of your smartphone;
- search for the item Applications o App;
- search for the application Android system WebView and tap on the three dots at the top right, then tap on Uninstall updates.
As anticipated this problem it is not attributable to individual companies like OnePlus, Samsung or so on but only to Google. In any case, in these hours the team of developers is working on the release of the corrective fix which is not excluded, perhaps it has already arrived on your devices.
