AnTuTu is most likely the most famous smartphone benchmark in the world, but the platform is not only concerned with testing our devices, but is also dedicated to publishing some rankings, such as that of smartphones with the best performance / price ratio. So let's see which models managed to win in their respective categories.
AnTuTu: Redmi dominates the ranking of smartphones with the best performance / price ratio
Before that, we remind you that the ranking scores are calculated based on the scores obtained in the V8 version of the software. In particular, the ratio of the running performance score divided by the current price is calculated. The prerequisite for being selected is that the model must fall within the overall performance ranking of AnTuTu. If it is not on the performance list due to insufficient actual execution points, even if the performance / price ratio is high, the device will not be on the list.
So let's start with the ranking for smartphones in the 0-1499 yuan price range, or those with a price below 184 euros.
Like last time, the Redmi Note 8 Pro still tops the chart with a price tag of 1099 yuan (135 €) for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. With the performance / price score settling at 258.6.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90T as a processor, liquid cooling with integrated copper tube which allows it to obtain an average score of 284241 on AnTuTu. If we add to this the fact that it is equipped with a 1 megapixel Samsung GW64 sensor, the Note 8 Pro still looks like one of the most interesting entry-level devices on the market.
Redmi 9 (China)
In second position we find the Redmi 9 in the 4GB version of RAM and 64GB of internal memory with a price of 799 yuan, about 98 euros. Redmi's cheapest smartphone manages to get a score of 251,6 for its performance / price ratio.
Recall that the Redmi 9 arrives with a 6,53-inch display and FullHD + resolution, is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G80 chip, a battery capacity of 5020 mAh, supports 18W fast charging and has four rear cameras. His average score on AnTuTu is 201060.
In third place we once again have a Redmi device, the K30 5G in the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory version and a price of 1399 yuan, about 172 €. The first 5G smartphone in this price range achieves a performance / price score of 225,5.
As for the other specs, the Redmi K30 5G released in December last year is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip and features a 120Hz screen, four rear cameras with 64MP main and 30W flash charging. His average score on the AnTuTu test is 315473.
So Redmi once again dominated the rankings from 0 to 1499 yuan, which is no surprise given that the brand was born precisely to bring the best value for money to the market.
The same applies to the ranking with smartphones priced between 1500 and 1999 yuan, therefore between € 184 and € 246.
Here we find the Redmi 10X 5G in its version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory in first place. The smartphone is priced at 1599 yuan and achieves a performance / price ratio of 240,0.
The Redmi 10X 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 chip with an average AnTuTu score of 383751. The smartphone adopts a Samsung AMOLED screen from 6,57 inches with drop notch, 4520 mAh battery capacity, supports 22,5W wired fast charging, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera and supports Dual 5G aggregation.
Finally, as regards Redmi devices, we have the Redmi K30 5G Extreme Speed Edition with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which in China sells for 1699 yuan (210 €). The smartphone gets a performance / price score of 204,0 thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G which allows it to reach an average score of 346512 on AnTuTu.
Other specs include a 6.67 ″ display with 120Hz refresh rate, four rear cameras, 4500mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging.
