On January 13, ASUS ROG officially announced that the next generation of its gaming phone is on the way, it will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 888.

Well, this morning, Chinese blogger WHYLAB showed a live image of a gaming smartphone that should be the one just mentioned.
According to the blogger, the device arrives with the number 5 in the center of the back, so it is assumed that it can skip the number "4" and go directly to the ROG Phone 5. As some of you may know, the number four is the bearer of bad luck in the Chinese culture.
As for the rest, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 seems to inherit the style of the previous generation. The design of the back is basically the same as that of the previous generation. The three rear cameras are arranged horizontally and the main camera has a resolution of 64 megapixels. However, the ROG brand logo is moved to the lower left corner of the back cover.
Additionally, the ROG Phone 5 appears to be equipped with an independent red button on the side. It is assumed that this button serves to let us enter the game mode with a single click.
In any case, the brand has not announced any information on the new generation of ROG-branded gaming phones. But as we learned the other day, the smartphone should adopt a 60W or 65W fast charge and a battery of at least 6000mAh with dual technology to recharge faster.
Finally, remember that the smartphone could be presented between March 21 and April 19.
