The western world is thrilled for the release of the Xiaomi Mi 11 in a global version but in China the engines are heating up for the imminent arrival of the top version of the Redmi house, or the Redmi K40, which could also arrive in Europe with others declensions. We talk about imminent arrival because it is the CEO of the Asian brand himself, Lu Weibing, to ferment the hype for the flagship as one of his posts appeared on the Weibo social network was signed with the use of the new device.

It is rumored that the arrival on the market of Redmi K40 is even set for this January 20 and the noise behind the Redmi terminal is given above all because at the time of launch it will be the smartphone equipped with the cheapest Snapdragon 888 processor on the market. This is the only certainty about him, as the rest of the specifications as well as the design do not seem to have been confirmed yet, but the base price is, or 2999 yuan, which corresponds to about 380 euros at the exchange rate.

Apart from this, the news has recently come that the K40 series should boast at least 3 models, including 2 devices equipped with Snapdragon 888 CPUs and a third model that will probably be equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 (MT6893) chipset. It is perhaps a coincidence, but just today the Taiwanese company has published a teaser that reveals the product launch of the Dimensity series scheduled for January 20, the same date that sees the Redmi K40 debut on the Chinese scene.

But it does not end there, because a new SoC has also been leaked online, which responds to the name of MediaTek Dimensity 1100, or a weakened version of the 1200 model, built with a 6 nm process and equipped with 4 x Cortex A78 cores and 4 x Cortex cores. A55 with 1 + 3 + 4 structure, whose maximum clock will reach 2,6 GHz. Among the specifications supported by the new processor we have a camera up to 108 MP, Full HD + display with refresh rate up to 144 Hz, LPDDR4X RAM and storage UFS 3.1, all features that we could find in Redmi's new K40 series.

Last but not least, always the same CEO of Redmi, delighted its users with a spoiler to say the least poco mouth watering, revealing the energy performance of Redmi K40. From the report published by the executive, it can be seen that the Chinese flagship has totaled 10 hours and 30 minutes of active screen. A true record that if confirmed, would decree the Redmi K40 not only as the cheapest smartphone equipped with an SD888 SoC but also as the most powerful battery phone in the world.
