ASUS Zenfone 8 will see the return of a feature that was missing in the previous series

ASUS Zenfone 8 is about to debut in three variants: mini, standard and Pro. The device is long awaited by users who are passionate about this “particular” kind of smartphone for a variety of reasons. Specifically, as communicated by the company on a Tweet coming from the official channel, we will see the return of a smallness that has been missing since the 7 series, or the previous one: it is the 3.5mm audio hole. Present on the 6 series, absent on the 7 and now back on the 8 series, this hole had been loudly requested.

The 3.5 mm audio jack hole will return to the ASUS Zenfone 8 series: to officially communicate it is a Tweet from the company a few days ago

The source adds that the connector will be on top of the smartphone, but it is not yet known if all three models will have it (ASUS Zenfone 8 mini, 8 and 8 Pro). In addition to the audio jack, the Zenfone 8 will also have one front camera built into the screen in the upper left corner. This indicates that the new line has abandoned swivel camera design implemented in the previous two series.

Smartphones should be powered by the SoC Snapdragon 888 and offer 1080p OLED displays with support for high refresh rates. The smaller model will be the Zenfone 8 mini, which will receive one screen from 5.92 ″, a battery from 4000 mAh and support for the quick charge from 30w. For the rest, it is known that the company will debut the three devices in a global variant on May 12th.
