In order not to get too involved in the technicalities and bore you, we have republished the official video that appeared on the various social profiles of the company. In the few minutes of the video, however, all the procedures for testing smartphone batteries are presented. In Xiaomi's Battery Lab you can come across an avalanche of terminals, which alternate various batteries for each batch, as well as encounter extreme temperatures, in order to simulate the most harmful situations for the batteries, with values ranging from + 85 ° C at -40 ° C.
But this is nothing, because in the Xiaomi Battery Lab real physical resistance tests are also carried out. Perhaps the right attention has not been paid to it, but each tested battery is subjected to a press, in order to guarantee a good degree of robustness both for the external structure and for the circuits inside it. There are also electrical stresses coming from different sources, all to verify the resistance to electrical failures.
There is no doubt that guaranteeing a minimum of quality, but above all safety in terms of batteries, is absolutely essential to maintain a good image and, above all, to guarantee the use of your smartphones and in this Xiaomi has really surprised us positively.
