Every month AnTuTu, the popular benchmarking software, draws up a ranking of the "Top 10" based on the data collected through its app. In November we witnessed the launch of several new Chinese smartphones that have steadily entered this competition.
In this first chart, we see a global ranking that does not distinguish between OSs and in fact we are positioned in the first places the iPhone 7 and 7 plus with a decent detachment. We find instead 2 new exntry: The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Huawei Mate 9. It lacks appeal Xiaomi Mi Mix for which probably not enough data has been collected, at least 2000 different tests are needed to have a statistical value. The same goes for the newcomers OnePlus 3T and Meizu Pro 6 Plus for which it will be necessary to wait for the December ranking.
In the dedicated chart and Android we see mastering the "beast" LeEco Le Pro 3 which with a competitive price and big muscles, is having a lot of success. Close behind are the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus and the Smartisan M1L. The two newcomers, lo Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Huawei Mate 9, they are positioned at the 4 ° and 5 ° places with roughly equivalent results.
Although it is evident it is overwhelming power of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC, it is interesting to note how much progress has been made Huawei's Hisilicon chip which does not look bad at all in comparison. Recently, Huawei has, by means of software update, removed limiting temperature control, releasing all the power of GPUs.
We like to remember that these charts reflect only the "pure power" of a device and that does not always coincide with greater fluidity or usability. However, it remains a useful and interesting comparison parameter.
