We recently learned that Black Shark will present the new generation of gaming phones on March 23 in China, which should include the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro.
Official: Black Shark 4 will have AMOLED E4 144Hz screen and two motorized shoulder buttons
Well, this morning, Black Shark released some more teasers for the device. In particular, it announced that the Black Shark 4 series will be equipped with a 4-inch Samsung AMOLED screen in E6,67 material with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a multi-touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz.
According to the Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, the Black Shark 4 series uses the same screen that we find aboard the Redmi K40 presented a couple of weeks ago. That said, thanks to the larger dimensions typical of gaming phones and therefore a better heat dissipation system, Black Shark has managed to increase both the display refresh rate and its touch sampling rate.
In any case, previous leaks had revealed that this type of display is made with the best E4 luminescent material from Samsung. Compared with the previous material (E3), the screen brightness is higher. The maximum brightness of the screen can in fact reach 1300 nits, while the global brightness settles at 900 nits with a contrast ratio of up to 5000000: 1. At the same time, the display is more energy efficient, which translates into approximately 1 hour longer battery life.
In other respects, the screen supports DCI-P3 color gamut, MEMC motion compensation and 8192-level brightness adjustment. As stated by Redmi at the launch of the K40, it is one of the best flat screens in the industry, as well as the most expensive. So finally, gamers won't have to make any compromises on the quality of the display.
Finally, Black Shark has again anticipated the presence of two motorized shoulder buttons that will surely be very useful to the most avid gamers (video above).
