Complications are around the corner and the situation is becoming more serious than it already is. Based on what we learn from Nikkei Asia, the chip making industries are entering a stalemate. The reason is simple: there are no processors to produce the machines that produce the processors themselves.

- drilling rigs: laser machines whose delivery will be delayed by at least 12 months
