OpenAI has announced that it will soon start charging for the use of ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot. This system has already become popular thanks to the ability to write essays, emails, poems and even computer codes, including viruses. The company said it is starting to think about how to monetize ChatGPT to ensure the "long-term functionality" of the system. But beware: not everyone will pay. Let's see why.
OpenAI who created ChatGPT has announced that there will be a paid experimental version for professionals. That's what it's about
It is assumed that the paid version will be called ChatGPT Professional, this follows from the data provided by the company. So far, OpenAI is collecting information. In particular, they are interested in what would be an adequate price for using a chatbot. The company also lists the benefits of ChatGPT Professional, including unlimited messages and the removal of other restrictions. To participate in the early tests, you must fill in the form and wait for the result.

The professional version Professional is currently in initial development and is not yet available to everyone. No release date for the public version has been announced. It should be noted that despite the controversy and numerous bans in educational institutions, the OpenAI chat bot has become a popular tool and has attracted the attention of specialists from all over the world. Some companies are already implementing ChatGPT in their workflows. For example, Microsoft will include the AI behind ChatGPT in its Office suite, as well as the Bing search engine.
At the moment, the platform already has more than a million users, so the monetization issue arose in a timely manner. It is worth mentioning that Anthropic Claude wants to "improve" the OpenAI platform and make it "more human". How? To create Claude the company developed a technique they call “Constitutional AI”, which is an AI system that aims to align the system with human intentions by providing a principles-based approach, allowing the AI system to respond to questions based on a basic set of guiding principles similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT but in a more focused manner.
