All smartphones, Android or Apple, are equipped with RAM. It is well known that the optimization of an apple device is greater than that of the counterpart of the green robot. In fact, it is no coincidence that "traditional" smartphones have lots of RAM compared to iPhones. The latter do not reach more than 4 GB in general. But there is a way to check how much memory individual applications are using? Yes, and it's very simple. Let's see how to do it.
Which apps consume the most memory on Android? There is a very simple way to see it and you don't need to have special skills. that's how
As with any procedure on Android, once again it is necessary to enable the developer options. Don't worry, it's nothing too difficult. By following these few steps we will be able to access these options without too much trouble:
- open the Settings smartphone (gear icon) and go to device information
- once done we will have to tap on Build number until we become full-fledged developers
- let's go upstairs Settings and look for the Developer options through the menu System
Next, we proceed as follows:
- in this case we are using a OnePlus but the procedure is the same for all Android devices: let's go up System and subsequently on Developer options that we have previously activated
- in this screen we will find the option Conference proceedings (second photo from the left): let's tap on this writing and a menu dedicated to the memory used will open
- basically, we select Memory used by apps to access the last menu we need
- in the last screen we can see, for each app, how much RAM is used. From here we can force the interruption of one or more applications in case there is a malfunction or excessive use of RAM

In this last window we will be able to see the memory usage too based on time periods: 3, 6, 12 and 24 hours.
