Delays in DHL shipments from the first week of September

Hi guys,
these are the articles I would never have to write.
Need to explain why and how, as of the first week of September, shipments are sobbing.

Many of you have noticed the length of timelines estimated by DHL (and consequently the BARTOLINI ones).

On FAQ and other parts of the site include the estimated timing:

Escaping within 48 hours (2gg working) and delivering DHL within 4-5 working days from the date of payment.


Well, in these weeks the times have widened dramatically and, without trying to climb on the windows, I would try to list the reasons I have been given.

1. Chinese Celebrations
In the days ranging from 6 to September 9 China stopped for the mid-Autumn holiday.
In the days immediately before and immediately after, there was a frenzy in both DHL and Customs. Several parcels sent were sent back to the sender by customs (parcels promptly returned but which suffered considerable delay).

2. Apple's iPhone 6 Presentation
It seems absurd but it seems that Apple has booked something like 40% of DHL warehouses to ensure the timely evasion of the newcomer to Apple home from the day after the presentation (the 9 September)
This led to DHL saturation that led DHL Delays Delays to DHL itself for processing orders.

3. Border controls
This week, to feel our supplier, we have also put up the Shenzhen customs with carpet checks on everything that comes out of China (zampino Apple ??)
It tells of endless queues of vehicles loaded with parcels awaiting the "Clarence Event" customs.
This led to a further delay by DHL in taking charge of shipments.

Now a small note due.

Unfortunately, in this uncompleted period, many parcels remain for days in "Shipping Information Received".
Many of you have rightly called DHL to ask for snow.
The typical answer of DHL Italia is as follows: "Shipment was only booked. The parcel has never been delivered to us. Contact your supplier"(And down hundreds of mining emails).
Now, I do not want to hurt DHL Italia, but things are not exactly like that.

In China, 99% of companies entrust their shipments to "DHL Agents", which, among other things, retrieve items from our vendor's warehouse.
These agents have more or less privileged lanes (depends on the agent) in DHL.
Since the DHL agent has withdrawn the package from our supplier's warehouse, he waits for DHL to process it.
Typically, the day after the phone's withdrawal, the agent in question communicates the shipment tracking code.
Now that DHL says the parcel was never delivered to him, it might even be partially true. What DHL does not say (for obvious reasons) is that the parcel is in stock with one of their agents.

I say this not to controversy but to communicate to everyone how they are doing having received different emails with tones not so slow despite the fact that over time we tried to do our best and with the utmost commitment (sorry for the personal outpouring)

Let's get back to us.

This is the status of shipments made these days:


"RED" shipments have been all already sent and the vast majority have already arrived at their destination.
The vendor fails to promise a certain date where shipping "GRAY", "Shipping Information Received" shipping will be charged by DHL but trusts that the next 2-3 days should all return to normal.

We have decided not to close the shopping groups in the shop, but we ask everyone for maximum understanding and patience.

We are working hard to shorten shipping times as much as possible by evaluating other channels (other DHL agents) or even other HUBs bypassing HongKong.

I confirm to today (October 14) Delays: I have a shipment accepted on October 06 and to this day I still stand in Hong Kong

I confirm that I have several expeditions blocked with the most absurd excuses. Dhl Italy negates problems, DHL agents in China officially blame Chinese customs for transit to HK
I am very disappointed by DHL I was hoping they were more honest
