The crisis Ukraine it doesn't discount anyone, not even tech companies. We have seen that this conflict is likely to exacerbate the chip crisis with consequent increases in the cost of raw materials. But sometimes conflicts arise in conflicts, like what he sees DJI, well-known drone company, protagonist. Some time ago DJI had donated 140 drones to Ukraine to help it in the conflict, but now we discover rather inconvenient details that risk throw mud on the Chinese company.
DJI is allegedly "under accusation" for giving Russia some working drones, while Ukraine with non-working drones. We understand the story, as it is more difficult than that
According to what we learn from industry sources, the Chinese company would be at the center of an uncomfortable matter concerning the system DJI AeroScope. This particular identification system allows to have data about the speed, direction e the altitude of each company drone within a range of approximately 50 km. This system can be used by authorized users, who may also know the serial number and location of the DJI drone pilot.

Well, according to what emerged, following the donation by Finnish volunteers of 140 DJI drones to Ukraine, it seems that the AeroScope system is not working properly. It should be noted, however, that both Russia and Ukraine use the company's drones and the particular identification system. However, only drones from Ukraine are not working, while those of Russia do. The situation seems thorny as we know China's position in this conflict.
At the moment DJI has not made any statements and it seems plausible to think it won't. In fact, the company spokesperson Adam Lisberg some time ago stated that "Wartime uses for AeroScope were never foreseen".
