A few days ago, a leakster had released the first photo of what should be the next drone pack from the world leader in the category, DNI, under the name of DJI MINI SE. A drone that should adopt a folding design and that would be ready to go on sale on the famous American store Walmart.
DJI MINI SE leaks in a leak: will it be the cheapest DJI drone?
Well, today leakster OsitaLV revealed that the MINI SE could replace the Mavic Mini 2 already on the market and become DJI's cheapest consumer drone.
On the surface, it appears that the MINI SE and Mini 2 are somewhat similar. The configuration includes a 12-megapixel 1 / 2,3-inch gimbal camera, 2,7K video recording, three-axis gyroscope, a flight time of 30 minutes, and a maximum image transmission distance of 2,5 miles (4 kilometres).
Different we have the possibility on the Mini 2 to be able to record 4K video at 30fps and the farthest image transmission is 10 kilometers.
Of course, as long as the price is cheap, it can definitely appeal to users, but some advanced features like obstacle avoidance and auto-tracking may not be available.
At the moment, the price of the Mini 2 is 459 euros, the DJI MINI SE Mini SE could go for under 350 euros, hopefully.
