In recent times, we have heard a lot about episodes of smartphones from various brands that explode or catch fire for both known and unknown causes. This problem has also directly affected the Chinese company Xiaomi which, some time ago, in the space of a week saw two on smartphones and their unfortunate users, victims of this unpleasant episode. Unfortunately, we return to talk about this topic again, as a few days ago in China two other Xiaomi-branded devices suffered from this problem and, in one of the two cases, the unfortunate user also suffered the consequences.
The first case saw as the protagonist a recently marketed smartphone (Mi Max) which, according to what the user reported, would have exploded during the charging phase using the original wall charger contained in the sales package of the smartphone and which would have caused damage to the apartment of the same. Decidedly worse, however, is the fate of the second unfortunate user who saw his Xiaomi Mi 4c explode while he kept it in the back pocket of his pants with the result that he reported third degree burns.
In both cases, users stated that they had purchased their smartphone in an official online store of the company and, as soon as it became aware of this, the latter immediately stated that it would have hired a third-party company to investigate the incident. and that compensation will be offered to both victims.
It is always very disappointing to hear about this problem, especially if you do not know the causes of such a malfunction, which other manufacturers have done but which Xiaomi has not yet decided to reveal openly and which instead could be of help to other users possession of a defective unit.
