First port of Android One on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4/4X

Xiaomi is a company that likes to astonish its fans, and so it was when it introduced its world's first smartphone with Android One operating system, far away light years with strong graphics customization and not just the MIUI interface.

The peculiarity lies in the fact that it has been chosen as the real hardware and design base in the mid-range range, namely the Mi 5X that has liven up the Xiaomi Mi A1. The interest was therefore sparked on all the fans of the Chinese company, fantasizing the level of use experience, a stock version of Android, to be placed on a Xiaomi device. Today, however, is for somebody You can experience this experience live thanks to the A1 ROM porting.

In particular, porting was done by GLokin66 developer which through the platform of XDA Developers, has published the work done that is available for the devices Xiaomi Redmi Notes 4X and Redmi Note 4.

Of course some basic features can not be exploited as there are some hardware differences between the Xiaomi Mi A1 and the two devices. In addition, as a first beta release, as many features are not usable, such as the IR transmitter and the fingerprint scanner, as well as camera software may experience some loss of functionality.

Surely if you were tempted to try porting by reading these lines, you have already given up the idea, but perhaps you will find some daring who is willing to sacrifice some functions on behalf of Android One. So if you were among those daring you can go directly to the thread page for instructions and downloading porting, or on forum MIUI to get Mi A1 porting on your Xiaomi Mi 5X, which I invite you to view our complete review.

Nerd, Geek, Netizen, terms that do not belong to me. Simply myself, technology lover and provocative as Xiaomi does with his products. High quality at fair prices, a real provocation for the other most famous brands.
