According to a leaked company email, Business Insider refers which Google is asking all of its staff to dedicate two to four hours a day to look into Bard AI, which the company plans to implement in its chatbot feature. It's unclear whether the request was made by Google employees around the world. Although Google just disclosed 12.000 mass layoffs for its total workforce, the company still has around 170.000 workers globally, even without the Alphabet group dedicated to artificial intelligence.

Sundar Pichai allegedly stated in that memo that he would appreciate if all workers "contributed more profoundlyand took two to four hours for Bard's stress test. Anyone who has ever seen their boss's email will surely be aware that it is essentially more than just a request.
It's worth mentioning that In an effort to keep an edge on Microsoft, which has integrated its AI chatbot within Bing search, Google launched Bard a few days ago. Google reportedly has started internal testing last Tuesday. Pichai apparently said the company already has "thousands" of internal and external testers using Bard extensively. Hence the request.
As per the sources, those testers are checking i problems with the quality and safety of the AI of research, as well as its validity, which could be related to how “human” the AI-generated text responses sound. Beyond that is the issue of authority. Contrary to Bing search, Google Bard responses don't include references for the items presented. Citations, however, aren't the only method for assigning authority to AI responses.
