Recently, X announced the introduction of a subscription divided into three levels, among which stands out X Premium+. At the top of this offer we find Grok, the AI chatbot created by Elon Musk, destined to become an integral part of the most exclusive package. The first images leaked from the X website show Grok in development, anticipating what its appearance will be once launched in the X app.
Grok by X fits into a context that is perhaps already saturated with ChatGPT acting as emperor
Grok, positioned as a direct competitor to other famous chatbots such as OpenAI GPT chat, Google bard e Claude from Anthropic, stands out for a more marked personality. According to the xAI team, Grok is inspired by “Galactic guide for hitchhikers"of Douglas Adams and designed to respond with a touch of wit, also showing a rebellious side. His ability to deal with “spicy” questions, usually avoided by other AI systems, increases their attractiveness.

Another key feature of Grok is access to knowledge updated in real time through the X platform and web browsing capabilities. Launched initially on November 4 to a small group of testers, Elon Musk later announced that all X Premium+ subscribers will have access to Grok in the future.
The X Premium+ subscription is positioned as the most expensive option, at €16 per month or €168 per year, offering the removal of all advertisements and introducing a Creator Hub where users can earn money by publishing content and offering subscriptions to fans.
The integration of Grok in this subscription tier could make it more attractive even for non-creator users, as X hopes. Although Musk has not communicated a precise date for the launch of the chatbot, a screenshot reveals that work is being done to integrate it into the app X are already underway. According to the app researcher Nima owji, X's AI chatbot was added to the web app code just a few days ago, and its URL will be twitter.com/i/grok.
