Honor, the well-known Chinese smartphone brand, is about to launch a new series of devices based on the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the most powerful chip for Android at the moment. It's about the series Honor 100, which is expected to premiere later this month, and the series Honor Magic 6, which will come later.
Leakster reveals the specifications of the upcoming Honor 100 and Magic 6 series
Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed some of the features of these smartphones, publishing a post on Weibo, the popular Chinese social network. According to the leakster, the two models of the Honor 100 series and the Honor Magic 6 will all have a design with dual front camera in the center of the screen, a solution already seen on the previous Honor 90 Pro.
The cheapest model, Honor 100, will be equipped with a 6,5-inch OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The rear camera will have a sensor main 100-megapixel camera, flanked by a 16 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and one 8 megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The processor will be one Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (or less), supported by a minimum of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. There battery will be 4500 mAh with 66 W fast charging.
The high-end model, Honor 100 Pro, will have a OLED display from 6,7 inch with 144 Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. The rear camera will have a main sensor from 108 megapixel, flanked by a 20 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and one 12 megapixel periscopic telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. The processor will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the same used by the previous Honor 90 Pro, supported by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The battery will be 5000 mAh with 100 W fast charging.
As for the Honor Magic 6 series, the leakster has not revealed much information, except that it will also be equipped with a display with dual front cameras in the center and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Magic 6 series is assumed to be Honor's most innovative and experimental, and can offer advanced features.
