Honor, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, recently announced its collaboration with Porsche Design, the German luxury sports car brand. Well, in the last few hours some images have been leaked showing the design of the next series Honor Magic 6 Porsche Edition, which is expected to launch in January 2024.
Honor Magic 6 Porsche Edition: the images reveal the design inspired by sports cars
The images, spread by some bloggers on Weibo, the popular Chinese social platform, reveal the distinctive and refined look of the new Honor smartphones, which recall many stylistic elements of Porsche cars. The Honor Magic 6 Porsche Edition model, which should be the top of the range of the series, features a red and black color, typical of the bodies and interiors of Porsche cars, combined with a leather-like material on the back, which creates a contrast. The Porsche Design logo is clearly visible on the back, as is the camera module, which has a horizontal arrangement reminiscent of the rear lights of sports cars.
Even the Honor Magic 6 Pro model, which should be the second in terms of performance, shows a design inspired by Porsche cars, but with some differences. The dominant color is white, with some details in red, and the camera module has a circular shape, with three sensors arranged in the shape of a triangle. This recalls the design of the series Honor Magic 5, but with an added touch: the camera module has a frame that looks like a dashboard, with notches indicating the battery percentage and shooting mode.
Both models have a curved OLED display, with an oval hole that houses two front cameras. The displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass, which guarantees greater resistance to scratches and falls. The new Honor smartphones are equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the latest from Qualcomm, which offers high computing power and excellent graphics quality. Furthermore, they support the quick charge to 66W, which allows you to fully recharge the battery in less than half an hour.
