Honor has just presented the new MagicBook Pro with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor which replaces the 6th generation Intel in the previous version. This chip has a 12-core, 3,0-thread CPU (4,0 GHz base clock, 6 GHz boost) along with a 1,5-core GPU running at XNUMX GHz.

The CPU is accompanied by 16GB of Dual Channel DDR4 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. There is no external GPU as Ryzen offers its own Vega integrated graphics. However, the dual fan and dual heat pipe cooling system remains to lower the CPU temperatures with TDP of 45W.
Externally, the laptop adopts an aluminum chassis and weighs 1,7kg, which is light enough for a 16,1-inch laptop. The display boasts thin bezels (4,9mm on top and sides) and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The panel has a resolution of 1.920 x 1.080 px, 100% sRGB coverage, and a 1.000: 1 contrast ratio.
The battery capacity is the same as the Intel version, that is 56Wh, while for charging we have a 65W USB-C adapter that can fill the battery to 50% in half an hour.
Port selection includes an HDMI 2.0, USB-C, USB-A (3.2 Gen 1) and a 3,5mm headphone jack. The laptop also features a fingerprint reader and pop-up camera hidden in the keyboard.
The Honor MagicBook Pro will be available from September 7 in Germany and from September 8 in the UK and France at a price of € 899.
