Honor presented its newHonor pad x9, which promises to offer a high-end multimedia experience thanks to its large 120Hz display and 6 speakers. The tablet was launched in China a day earlier under the name of Honor Pad X8 Pro, but now also arrives in Europe with a starting price of 250 euros.
Honor Pad X9 official in Europe: arrives with 11,5 ″ 120 Hz screen and Snapdragon 685 chip
The strong point of the Honor Pad X9 is certainly its screen, a 11,5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2.000 x 1.200 pixels and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. The display also supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, which ensures greater fluidity in animations and games.
Completing the multimedia experience are the 6 speakers integrated into the tablet, two in the right side, in the left one and the lower one. The bottom speakers are designed to reflect sound into the environment and create a 360-degree effect, thanks to Honor Histen technology. The tablet also supports Dolby Atmos for virtual surround sound.
Under the metal shell, which measures 6,9 mm thick and weighs 495 grams, we find the Snapdragon 685 processor, an octa-core chip with an Adreno 620 GPU. The tablet has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD. There battery has a capacity of 7250 mAh and supports the 22,5W fast charging via USB-C.
The Honor Pad X9 runs with MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and offers several features dedicated to families and productivity. The tablet supports Google Kids Space and Family Link, which allow parents to control access to content and screen time for children. Furthermore, thanks to Honor Connect, it is possible to share notifications and files between the various Honor devices.
The tablet is available in two colors: Midnight Black and Frost Silver. At the moment, the only version available is the Wi-Fi one, but a variant with LTE connectivity could also arrive. The Honor Pad X9 is already on sale in Germany and the UK via the HiHonor site, where you can take advantage of a promotion that gives away a pair of Honor Earbuds X5 for purchases by the end of July.
