Honor, the well-known smartphone brand belonging to the Huawei group, today presented its new mid-range model theHonor play 8t.
The screen of the Honor Play 8T is a 6.7 inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), which guarantees excellent visual quality, with vivid and detailed colours. Furthermore, the screen supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes images smoother and more responsive, especially when gaming.
The processor that powers the Honor Play 8T is the MediaTek Dimensity 6020, a chip produced with 7 nanometer technology, which offers excellent performance and low power consumption. The processor is made up of eight cores, including two Cortex-A76 at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which manages graphics effectively. The Honor Play 8T is available in three memory variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB, which allow you to have large storage space and high system fluidity.
The battery of the Honor Play 8T is one of the strong points of the device, as it has a capacity of 6000 mAh, which ensures long autonomy even in case of intensive use. According to data provided by the company, the battery can support up to 17 hours of continuous gaming or 22 hours of video playback. Furthermore, the battery supports fast charging at 22.5 W, which allows you to recharge 50% of the battery in about half an hour.
As regards the photographic sector, the Play 8T features a 50 megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, which offers good image quality even in low light conditions, together with a second camera with a resolution of only 2MP. There front camera is 16 megapixel instead with f/2.0 aperture, and offers good selfie and video call performance.
The Play 8T also features Side fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm audio jack, the microSD card slot and dual SIM support. The operating system is Android 13 customized with the Magic OS 7.2 interface.
The Honor Play 8T will be available in China at starting price of 1099 yuan (about 130 euros) for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB version.
