OnePlus Open, the first foldable smartphone from OnePlus, has just been spotted in the database FCC. The certification reveals many details about the upcoming device, including its battery, size, and software version. Furthermore, the phone has also been spotted on Geekbench, confirming the chipset that had been teased for the device.

The FCC certification of the OnePlus Open reveals details about the battery and charging of the device. Your phone will have a Double cell battery with a total capacity of 4805 mAh. The battery will be divided into dtwo parts: one with 3.295 mAh and the other with 1.510 mAh. These components will be manufactured by Sunwoda Electronics of China. The phone will also support the technology of 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which will allow you to recharge the device in just a few minutes.
Finally, FCC certification also shows us the area NFC of the device, which will be located in the upper part of the rear glass where the phone's camera module is also located. The OnePlus Open will have a 48MP rear camera and an 16MP front camera.
As for Geekbench with its flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, achieved higher scores: 5463 in the multi-core test and 2014 in the single-core test.
For the rest, the OnePlus Open will be a foldable smartphone with a design similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. Your device will have one internal 7,82 inch OLED screen with resolution 2268x2440p and one 6,31 inch OLED external screen with 2484x1116p resolution.
As previously mentioned, the Open will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, Together with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The device will be equipped with OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13, the latest version of OnePlus' custom operating system.
The OnePlus Open will be available in two colors: black and silver. The price has not yet been announced, but it is estimated to be around 1500 euros. The smartphone will be on sale in several countries, including Italy, starting from 29 October.
