According to several Chinese sources, the Honor V40 is expected to be the company's first flagship smartphone after being separated from its parent company Huawei.
Honor V40: New leak reveals the final design
Recently, the smartphone was spotted with Chinese 3C certification with 66W fast charging. Today, however, a new render of the Honor V40 has emerged online, completely revealing its final design.
In particular, on the back we find a four-camera configuration, with 3 large sensors and a smaller one. This camera module design appears to be inspired by that of classic watches.
Also in the camera module on the left we then have the wording "MATRIX CAMERA ASPHLENS". The ASPH Lens (or Aspheric Lens) is a type of lens also produced by LEICA and which we have seen on various flagships of the Huawei brand.
In the front we see instead a curved display with a pill hole for the dual selfie camera. The headset part is visible at the top.
Along with the render we have just seen, a sketch of the smartphone has also been leaked, in which it is revealed that the display has a curvature of 88 degrees. It also shows us that the bottom of the smartphone houses a sim tray, a microphone, a speaker grille and a charging port. Finally, we know that the size of the pill-shaped hole in the front has decreased by 20 percent.
As for the rest, the Honor V40 is most likely equipped with an FHD + display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. We should then find the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset and a 50 megapixel main sensor.
